Wayne Kushneryk, Advisor - Communications and Product Development
Wayne Kushneryk, P. Eng is a seasoned professional with a proven track record in growing high tech companies from start-up to commercially successful ventures. He is currently working as a senior consultant providing technical and business guidance to small energy, wireless and IoT companies. He has worked on several large and small projects in over 20 countries worldwide.
Over the past 30 years, he has held Vice President and Director roles in engineering, sales, customer solutions and support at Novatel Wireless Technologies Ltd, Harris Corporation, Finland PTT, and Shaw Cable Systems Ltd. He has led cross functional ideation teams culminating in several commercially successful products and patents. Wayne holds US Patent 9137091 – Dynamic quality of service for control or media streams using feedback from the local environment. He has a BSc. EE degree from University of Alberta. He has recently completed the Canadian Securities Course.
Dr. Mike Yoon, Advisor - Pipeline Operations and Leak Detection
Mike S. Yoon, Ph.D., ASME Fellow, has served several pipeline companies as an engineering specialist, manager, consultant and/or teacher. Over the past 40 years, he worked in various pipeline system design and project management as well as in management of automation system suppliers. Dr. Yoon has served on two boards and has provided consulting and/or training services to various organizations including Enbridge, TransCanada, Bantrel, Saudi Aramco, CriticalControl, and the National Energy Board. Earlier in his career, Dr. Yoon held senior management and engineering roles with companies including TCEnet, Energy Solutions International, Schneider Electric, Sandwell, Novacorp International, and Nova Corporation.
Dr. Yoon has published several papers including a report on leak detection technologies, and has taught Liquid Pipeline System Design and Operation courses at the University of Calgary, University of Newcastle in UK, and Escuela Politecnica Nacional in Ecuador. He served as Co-Chairman of the International Pipeline Conference (IPC), Chairman of Pipeline Systems Division (PSD) of ASME, and currently serves as Editor-in-Chief of the ASME Pipeline Engineering Monograph series. He won the ASME Achievement and PSD Appreciation awards.
